How do you view the church? Do you see the church as a social club, a weekly gathering where you can make and meet new people? Do you see the church as a political outpost, a place to mobilize voters and impact social change? Do you see the church as a wellness center, a source of life coaching and emotional care?  Do you see the church as a business where the pastors cater to congregants as customers? Here's a better question “How does God view the Church?”  Paul gives the answer in 1 Timothy 3:15  If I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.

The church is – among other things - the household of God.  In other words, every church is a spiritual family, full of fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers in the Lord.   And seeing the church as a family will transform the way you engage in the assembly.  To find out how join us for the 2024 Ironmen Summit.  Where we will meditate on what it means to be a part of the Household of God.
